Whats everyone paying for their bikes? I know that the prices in California vary from $12,500 to almost $15k

What kind of deals are you folks making. Are you getting parts at a discount? Installations free? Do you pay the asking?

Or are you traveling a distance to get the best deals?

Deals are probably better by now, especially with the holidays approaching and maybe your local dealer will have some special black Friday or boxing day sales. I think someone in California was quoted an OTD price of $16,800.00 for the current model year. No idea where you'd find one for $12,500.

Yeah, talked to a dealer in Florida whose listed price rose from 12,800 to 14,100 without sales tax. Will wait and continue to shop - should be able to make a good deal around the last week of Dec.

$12,800 is pretty good already, but if you're willing to wait for boxing day or end of year sales then maybe you'll hit the sub 12k mark. What are you hoping to get one for?

It almost seems like they're going with some standardized reduction in price that isn't random but a typical step down from regular MSRP. Good to see we can at least know whats expected. Appreciate everyone reporting.

I paid $12,699 last week at Munn Racing in Elm Mott, TX. I have to have it shipped to NM but it was still cheaper doing that than trying to buy from my local dealer. Stay away from R&S Racing in Albuquerque. They’re horrible.

Thanks for leaving that feedback on R&S, I have some buddies down their and they have heard the same thing. Hopefully its just a small amount of customers experiencing that, the last thing we need are bad dealers.

No problem...

I had another buddy that took his "new-to-him" KLR 650 to R&S to have it checked out before a road trip to CO. Among other things, they overlooked a frayed throttle cable and did not reinstall the speedo cable correctly to the front wheel (I think he may have had new tires installed hence the reason for removal of the front wheel) and as a result, it ripped out while going down the highway.

Plus, they're not willing to work with you on buying a new bike. Wouldn't even let me ride it unless I showed up with cash/financing to buy the bike. Was told that riding the bike is not the first step in the process!?! REALLY?

Be cautious when dealing with them!

i just did $13,500 out the door including tag tax title, all dealer BS fees in Greensboro, NC. While i was looking, i noticed a dealer in Florida listing $11,999 but there was fees involved so i didn't go any further with them.

I'm looking at a 2017 demo model for $16000 otd. Bike is in British Columbia with around 200km. It's about 3K saving on buying new but I would only get 6 month warranty.

Any thoughts on buying demos?

Thanks,
Future 1090 owner.

Just purchased one of the Colorado KTM media introduction demo bikes. Totally stock except “unlocked” with 228 miles. G-Power Sports in Boulder let it go for $11,999. Nice dealership. Cheers.

I just picked up a leftover 17 for $12,105 OTD in Wisconsin. But I live in Iowa, so I have to pay TTL here at home on top of purchase price. So, Add about $800 for that.

:grin2: You're the one that bought that one! I didn't move on it quick enough. I had the purchase agreement from that same dealership emailed to me and missed it because I waited too long.

KDE,

When I saw their ad on Cycle trader, I called them and they had sold that one. But, they were quick to tell me that they could get another at the same price. They had mine within a week.

Yeah like I said I should've jumped on it, but oh well. I'm pleased with the bike even if I had to pay a bit more. Gotta pay to play right?

Just picked up a 2018 1090 for $14,069.14 from Cycle Shack North in Conroe Tx. They matched the best price I could find within a 15 hour drive.
