"And now you want us to go through this s**t ?!"

Lol the tester sounds very uneasy about what the guy wants them to do for the shots and videos. Quite an enjoyable video.

The video seems to be taken down unfortunately. I wonder why?
Odds are there's an embargo on whatever event KTM had journalists at. So we can take this as a hint that reviews and more feedback is in the loop ;)

It's just too bad that there won't be any other hints due to how tight lipped these publications have to be till the embargo is lifted. PATIENCE!
That's definitely the reason. If you look around, that was probably the only video that was out that had feedback on it and KTM was like wait what, no. No. No.

Just gotta kick back and watch your screen savers and desktop backgrounds cause that's all we have for now !
What does help while we wait for more information and overall content is the following video that KTM helped in producing.
Sorry if it makes you want a 1290 and if the extra money comes out of your childs college fund :D

Ahhh this is the same video that I posted. That's odd. But nonetheless... the thought does come to mind... The little bugger can wait an extra year or two right...? ;)
Makes me envious of the Morocco terrain they got to ride over. Those trails are hard to find near me, mostly just forests instead of canyons and that's where the more scenic shots were taken. Going to be exciting to see everyone's scenic shots once they go on sale.

If you live in the US then checking out the off road terrain in Arizona will be the closest you get to what those guys have.

Just a matter of looking and you'll find it, keep going south. Have you looked into the sort of off road terrain around you?

Just follow the ATV guys in the forest :D

Be prepared for a lot of elevations and difficult terrain, actually with all those challenges it might be far more interesting than what people down south like this have access to.
Lol if the ATV guys can make it, you bet you can too! ;)

The great part about forests is that their open. Get adventurous, try carving your own path and what not :)
The 1090 will be able to handle all of that plus more. Just riding around in forests, throttle modulation is key. I'll probably wait a little bit from receiving my 1090 before I head into the tougher terrains. Always gotta feel it out first.
What also helps with riding in those terrains and environments, the optional 4th riding mode will be extremely handy. I put it up in this thread here http://www.ktm1090forum.net/forum/393-suspension-brakes/985-4th-riding-mode-option.html
I can't see why they wouldn't make that standard for a bike like this. I'm pretty sure majority of the people will be opting for it as they do have plans to take these things and put them through it's paces.
