I'm thinking about a ratchet strap system to keep with me when I ride solo, at least up here in the PNW we've got a lot of trees to grap on too. I've dropped mine three times now, had to pick it up once by myself.
I'm in Oregon but ride the Gifford Pinchot a bit, be great to meet up sometime.

We sure do!!

I live about 10 miles from Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge.
I hit more twisties and gravel on my daily commute than most do on Sundays. :) I love it!!
I’m in Bellingham

I am in Bellingham, I just got my 1090 a couple of weeks ago. I’d love to pick your brain on the bike. It’s blast to ride.

I live down in Buckley.. I'm a member of a Meet Up group " Dual Sport Riding Club Meet up" they organize rides of all kinds, check it out maybe?... I have fallen over a couple times on my 1090 and they are no fun to pick up... Eric

I am not sure if its me or what, but I tried to write you and ended up writing a guy in the Netherlands. So not sure if you are in the Netherlands and not Buckley or there is mix up with your contact information and his. I would love to talk with you about these bikes and see about connecting for a ride sometime.

I'm up for a ride anytime I've dropped mine twice in a area I shouldn't have been the potential of this bike is endless I was up mountain loop outside of darington at a place called rat trap pass sketchy as **** up there. Upper crash bars are a must they saved my bike I bought the outback motortech skid plate and bars they are indestructible and worth every penny

Two of the upgrades I am looking at are a high fender mount and the upper crash bars. Had the low fender on my GS and around here mud isn’t fun with a low fender. I am looking at the Blackdog skid plate and relocating the side stand. One of my upgrades down the line will be a center stand. But right now I am good without one. Picking up a 500# bike has some challenges..especially if its off camber or on the down hill side of a trail. I appreciate all my years of riding fast so I can be better at riding slow. LOL
