Does anyone keep the battery tender ring thermal pigtail installed for quick connect / disconnect to battery charger?

I left my bike sitting in the shop for two months last winter and there was no drop in voltage when I started it up.
I haven't seen a need for one yet.

Now my old KLR.....that was a different story.

I do. I plug it in if I’m not going to use it for a few days. Just an old Ducati habit I think.

I do too, but mine is the SAE type plug. I put all my bikes on the tender once a week when not being ridden. Usually only takes 5 minutes or so each to get them back in the green.

I broke down and bought a battery charger/maintenance thingy and same thing...after two months of no riding, plugged it in and about 5 minutes it was solid green. Good to have though to keep a check and keep them topped off.
