I bought my KTM aventure last week.. 600 miles on now & taking it for first service tomorrow.
Then off to northwest scotland for some serious enjoyment.:grin2:
I got the 19inch wheel version as it won't be used off road much. Stunning handling & ace motor., suits the tight winding, peak district roads perfectly. Loving it!!!!

Tell me about it, some KTM owners find some of the best places to ride which make me wonder what some of these new members are up to.
Probably out exploring the great outdoors before the weather gets colder. There's a lot of amazing trails outside, though I do wish I live close enough to some of them. Trying to find a scenic route could sometimes mean riding for hours on end on the KTM.
Had all sorts of bikes from xr600 etc trials bikes numerous road bikes. Sold my 1200 gs Dohc to buy the 1090. Chuffed to bits with it, handles stops goes well & now the seats broken my arse in its even comfortable.
Just got back from Scotland, all types of road from a roads to single track. Stunning riding & the bike didn't disappoint. Despite a varied mix of weather. ( it's scotland weather changes every 20 minutes. ) we covered the cairngorms area & spent few days on the isle of skye, also covered the Yorkshire dales & the wrynose & hardnott passes in the lake district on the way up. Loved it!!! Good accommodation great beer
good company & a great bike it doesn't get better. Trust me scotland is worth riding. (West coast especially is supurb)
