Hi,
Came across this 1090 forum and thought I would sign up and say hello.
I will shortly be the proud owner of a 2018 KTM 1090 Adventure, (trading up from my 990 Adventure).
Just trying to see what issues I can expect to come across along with modifications to improve comfort and ride-ability.
How have people found the standard seat for comfort or lack thereof

Hi Dirtrack, thanks for your reply. I'm really enjoying my 1090 so far. With 8 years age gap between my old 990 and the 1090 you can see the developments and improvements that have been made such as the bike feels a lot lighter and easier to move around, does not seem to be so top heavy and much easier to get onto the main stand. Seat is far more comfy than that on the 990, engine is more refined and better geared for street riding. Mods carried out so far are the fitting of KTM engine protection bars in orange; removal of the cannister under the rear seat to make space for the toolkit; fitting of a radiator guard, fender extender and side stand foot enlarger. Just got a Scottoiler, yet to fit still trying to establish suitable fixing and connection points for the vacuum and nozzle delivery assembly.
