Hi,
Just checked my 1090R coolant level today, I must say for the first time in 1050 miles, and found it very low, not even in the low range. Topped it up with about 250ml of coolant to the desired level. Owned the bike from new, no signs of a leak and no overheating issues.

Has anyone had the same experience with their 1090’s?

I took my 390 Duke for second service last week and the same thing on it. I got a full flush on it.

I will be checking more frequently on my 1090.

Would you be doing road miles mostly?

Yup, I checked my coolant over the winter I was at 5500 km and it was below the low level as well.
I topped it up, no signs of leaks either. I took a picture and mentioned it to the dealer, seeing as they should have checked at the first service?

Hi Slippy
Yeh all road miles nothing green lane etc.
Probably nothing to worry about but never experienced this with any of my Japanese bikes.
My bike is back at the dealers for a new fuel tank sender, fuel gauge reads permanently full at the moment, so I might mention it to them, I’ll feedback any comments.

Yep, I'm in the low coolant club as well. I'm at around 7K in mileage and have never checked it. It's not even visible!! I know what I'll be doing tomorrow....

Thank you Walton for pointing this out!!!
