Just picking up my 1090 Adventure R tomorrow. It's a new 2018 bike that the dealer was blowing out so I saved some money compared to a 2019......I am sure I will quickly spend my savings on mods! Long time motorcycle owner/rider but first time with an Adventure bike. Still have my Triumph Rocket III Roadster that I am keeping. Looking forward to learning more about both the 1090 and Adventure riding. I am located in Edmonton, Alberta....if anybody is close by I am always game for a ride.

Congrats on the new bike. You mentioned in the other post about this thing being light and I was like "WTF is this guy talking about!? That thing is heavy AF" but then you mentioned your other bike was 800 lbs. So yeah I can see that. Have fun and be safe up there in Canadia I bet there are some awesome rides up in those mountains.
