Greetings everyone!
I’ve recently purchased a very clean low mileage (17k km) ‘17 Adventure R and I am delighted with it.
They’re a scarce enough bike here in Ireland and ended up sourcing one in France and riding it home.
Only issue I’ve had was a faulty fuel level sensor which left me stranded on the day I bought it. I see this is relatively common from reading through the forum.

Easy fix. Take it out clean it, sand it down, Clean it, put it back in. It will take couple tanks of gas, (petrol) for it to calibrate

Buy fuel pump swap it out. It will
Go out. Just do it and forget about it. It’s 1.5 hour fix.

Hmmm, think your prediction was right Strester! I believe my pump is on its way out. Is aftermarket the way to go or OEM?
