Hello from Quebec city!
I ride since 2008 and bought my first ADV bike in 2016. It was a Triumph Tiger 800 xc. Loved it, but I had 2 issues with it. The mid size triple engine is great for solo riding and quite road oriented. It lacked the "snap" I needed in the trails and when riding 2 up and fully loaded, there was not enough power to overtake any more than one car. So after a test drive of both 1090r and 1290s, and consulting the minister of finance (my gf :grin2: ) I decided to go with the 2019 1090r. I already put 10000km on it and got through 2 rears tires. That bike is a beast and i love it! The only bug I had so far was the hard start when sitting a couple of days.
