Hi everyone
Just found this site so thought I’d say hello,
Just bought a 1090r about 3 weeks ago, 6months old from my local dealer.
I’m new to adventure bikes, always had sports bikes and Mx/enduro bikes.
I have to say a absolutely love this thing, it’s comfy and so easy to ride plenty quick enough on the road and surprisingly good on the few green lanes I’ve tried!

Welcome, having owned a 990 Adventure in the past I was amazed at just how capable the 1090 is on the dirt by comparison, throttle response and gearing are so much better suited than the older bike.

Welcome, You'll love it at each starting an each mile;
reaching 30 000 kms in one year, it's an every-day bike and I've to say after 46 years on bike, (licenced in 1972), one of the best bike I had, the engine is so living and the shocks do the job in every conditions; hope to keep it for years.

Glad to have another 1090 owner on the forum.
What other bikes were you looking at before coming to KTM? It seem that these days adventure bikes are really picking up in momentum.

Have you started looking into modifications and/or accessories?
