Hi fellow 1090-ers,

question please: On off-road mode, from what I know the ABS switches to front only, however on my 2018 1090R, the rear does not lock ever which is annoying when off-roading. Does anyone know if I’m doing something wrong? I don’t want to completely turn off the ABS since I want to keep the front but I’m not sure what to do anymore. I press down all the way on the rear lever and doesn’t lock and feels like ABS is still on.

any insights from any of you would be great.

Turn off ABS. This turns the back off but not the front (can't turn off front ABS). I don't use offroad mode as it limits horsepower. For the most fun: Sport mode, ABS off, MTC off

What if you read the manual?

I did not receive one with the bike, bought it used. I have since figured it out, looks like switching solely to off-road mode does not turn off the rear abs, you have to manually change that as well. Anyway, thanks for nothing and Slava Ukraine bruh

You'll shred rubber but have a crap load of fun. Recomended tyre for grip+longeity: Motoz Desert

OFF-road mode does not turn off the rear ABS completely. But if you often fall and you don't have a dongle, it's convenient to use the off-road mode.
PS: "Slava" - it mean "glory". Also that my name. Not everyone wants war.
