Hi folks. Testdrove the 1090R for a short trip on the country side. never got out on the motorway ect. Where does it sit at cruising speed 75/80 mph, and does it have enough low range tourque for the heavy stuff?
Just would appreciate some answers before I transfer the money to the dealer tomorrow. 🙂. Tried Google, but couldn't find anything. Cheers lads!

I found that the engine is happy over 4k. Under that it's rough. Under 75 miles (120km/h for me) I stay in fifth gear. In offroad mode, it has all the snap you need for trail riding. It has a lot of torque but like most twin cam V twins, it needs to rev at least in the upper lower to mid range.
